Gudrun Patteet wint CSI4* GP Ascona
Insiders hadden het al lang in de gaten. Gudrun Patteet heeft Sea Coast Atlantic (Schilling) klaar om helemaal door te breken. Zonet won hij de Grote Prijs van Ascona in Zwitserland. De topvier werd er ingepalmd door de amazones. Anna-Julia Kontio en Pacific (Diamant de Selilly) werden tweede, Christina Liebherr (LB Eagle Eye, ex. econoom vh Lindenhof, v. darco) derde en Janika Sprunger (Aris, v. Nassau) vierde. De BWP-merrie Fairlight vh Heike (Vigo d'Arsouilles) stond op vijf met Alberto Zorzi van Stal Tops. Constant Van Paesschen, ook dubbel nul met Carlow vd Helle (Caretino), werd mooi zevende.
In de 1.45m-proef werd Ugo Berrittella tweede met Eldorado vh Vijverhof ((Thunder) tweede voor Pieter Devos (Dax vd Abdijhoeve). Devos was in de Youngster Final al zevende geworden met Julyssi van Orti (Cicero Z). In de GP kreeg hij met Apart (Larino) een fout in de barrage. Gregory Wathelet stond nog op een aardige tweede plaats met de achtjarige wereldkampioen jonge paarden Nevados (Calvados Z).
