Swedish team versus Global Team in Stockholm

Sweden"s capital event, the Stockholm International Horse Show, will host
the third leg of the FEI World Cup Driving on 26th and 27th November in the
Globen Arena... And it will become a competition with extra rivalry!

The Swedish four-in-hand drivers Tomas Eriksson, Fredrik Persson and Nicke Pålsson will face the Global Team members Michael Freund, Boyd Exell and Chester Weber. Both Persson and Pålsson competed before in the Globen with a wild card and will now start their first World Cup season on home soil. Eriksson has this year received the wild card from the organisation and will therefore not be able to win World Cup points.

After winning the FEI World Cup competition in Stuttgart last weekend, Michael Freund is determined to continue his winning mood in Stockholm, where he also won last year"s World Cup competition. Since Chardon is not competing in Stockholm, Boyd Exell will get the chance to take over the lead in the standings. For Chester
Weber, Stockholm will already be his last competition. As he said in Stuttgart, he very much likes the open course in the Globen and he will try to close his fourth World Cup season with a victory.

The warm up competition in Stockholm will take place on Friday, November 26th at 20.30 hrs while the World Cup competition is scheduled on Saturday, November 27th at. 20.15 hrs. The competitors will compete in an extra competition, not counting for the World Cup, on Sunday, November 28th at 18.30 hrs.
